Simucad joins e*ECAD as Vendor Partner

e*ECAD announced today it has signed a software and distribution partnering agreement with veteran EDA tool vendor, Simucad. Simucad will be offering its flagship product Silos through e*ECAD. Silos is a Verilog-HDL logic simulator and design toolbox for ASIC and FPGA design, which supports Windows, Solaris and Linux platforms. With over two decades of development behind this design and fault simulator, Silos provides an easy to use GUI that integrates with Verilog HDL applications.

By partnering with Simucad, e*ECAD has bolstered its front-end toolset with this Verilog HDL Simulator. e*ECAD offers a variety of front-end, back-end and physical design tools from over a dozen Vendor Partners. By offering tools from multiple vendors, and utilizing a variety of time-based licensing models, customers can access numerous EDA tools at a lower cost.
